Sales Assistant 80-100% (Temporary)

We are looking for a Sales Assistant 80-100% (Temporary) for the duration of ca. 3 Months, to assist in a sick leave. You will engage with the Sales team to provide administrative support to targeted local customers and to support innovation efforts. This position is based in Kemptthal and report directly to the Sales Director.


This position is hired though a third party Agency and on temporary basis.

In this Sales assistant 80-100% you will:


  • General Administrative tasks within the sales team
  • Customer support: answering questions to products in a timely manner
  • Supporting the Key account manager in the administrative support for designated accounts
  • Engage with R&D technical, pricing and Regulatory functions to understand and investigate customer enquiries (typically Food & Beverage manufacturers)
  • Cultivate customer relationships with clients, co-lead brief (opportunity) management systems/process
  • Schedule meetings and different arrangement
  • Respond to customer inquiries (Internal or external)

Your professional profile includes:


  • At least 2-5 year of practical experience in either sales, marketing or customer relationship experience in food or related industry
  • Experience and knowledge in the product development process in Food & Beverages is a big plus
  • Affinity to food and consumer goods
  • Hands-on work style, team player, nimble and proactive
  • Proficient computer skill in Windows based programs, ideally also SAP
  • Good communication skills, understands how to communicate with customers and portraying a positive image of Givaudan
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve ways of working
  • Proficient English skills (spoken and written)
  • Comfort in operating in a Global Matrix organization
  • Works to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded in all activities (internal and external)
