As a Senior Regulatory Science Manager  you will work within our Taste & Wellbeing  Global Regulatory Advocacy & Science Department  to develop and create global regulatory policies and guidelines. This role also involves close collaboration with regional teams to establish and maintain a global repository of all applicable legislations.

  • Support  T&S Head of Advocacy and  Scientific affairs as assigned with scientific and technical contribution
  • Develop and collaborate closely with Regulatory Process Innovation to implement global regulatory policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements 
  • Develop and implement internal policies on horizontal legislations, processes and procedures and training for team members/new hires/partners (e.g. Commercial, Science & technology, Regional teams)
  • Collaborate with regional teams to gather and consolidate regulatory information from different jurisdictions.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized repository of legislation, ensuring it is up-to-date and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about emerging regulatory trends and changes in the industry, and proactively communicate updates to the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of new regulations on Givaudan's products and operations
  • Participate in industry associations and regulatory forums to stay abreast of regulatory developments and contribute to shaping industry standards

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • University Degree (minimum Master) in a scientific field such as Food Science, Chemistry or related disciplines
  • 7-10 years of relevant regulatory experience in Flavours or Food or related industry
  • Knowledge of the food industry regulatory issues and trends, understanding of its customer regulatory requirements and market dynamics for food ingredients and flavourings
  • Strong communication (both written and oral)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholder
  • Problem-solving and Decision quality skills
  • Customer focus and Drive for results
  • Proactive Mindset
  • System proficiency, SAP experience is a plus
  • Project Management skills and priority setting
  • Business Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages is a plus
