CI Manager - Makó (Hungary) - Your future position?

 

Main tasks/ deliverables

 

Lead the Factory Makó Continuous Improvement (CI) journey to provide support in all CI relevant programs.

Lead strategic site road-map linked to the strategy cycle, by this support the Head of Operations.

Apply and spread continuous improvement knowledge in their respective unit, and building the required CI capabilities through training and certification.

Lead the implementation of continuous improvement programs within your assigned department to embed best practices, strengthen a continuous improvement mindset and improve non-value added activities.

Teach and guide application of methodologies: e.g. SMED, VSM, TPM & 6 Sigma.

You will be located in Makó (Hungary) and report to the Head of Operations (#LI-Onsite).

Business Agreement

  • Help design Site/Department strategies while ensuring the agreement from Global, Regional, and Functional into Site strategy. This includes selection, prioritization of improvement projects and resource allocation & execution timeline.
  • Setup CI strategy deployment governance at department & department level to ensure execution.

 

People Engagement

  • Establish a positive first contact with CI for all employees and enhance engagement.
  • Promote good practices sharing in teamwork.
  • Introduce and coach Visual Performance Management System as universal practice for everyone to manage performance for all departments.

 

Capability Building

  • Develop people by delivering training for all CI Methodologies.
  • Mentor the development of Belt and Problem Solving pyramids, and manage the certification and recognition events.

 

Problem Solving

  • Coach project teams in applying root cause analysis to develop PS pyramid and initiate change or lead complex PS workshops when needed.
  • Support teams to identify problems that must be solved using right CI Methodology and Tools.
  • Setup and manage a tollgate review governance for Site improvement/saving projects.

 

Performance Management

  • Set up and help implement daily/weekly/ monthly performance management reviews at shift, department and site level including the definition of lagging and leading indicators.
  • Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment (CIMA)
  • Train/assess the responsibilities or site/group/function in the CIMA Excellence maturity journey.

 

Process Efficiency

  • Train, coach and inspire teams in applying relevant CI tools and methodologies for improving E2E value stream processes and asset efficiencies.
  • Partner with the local process owners and regional/global process experts to apply solutions and good practices at site level.

 

Work Standard

  • Support process owners on development of CI related work standards.
  • Allow teams to comply with work standards (e.g. SOPs, OPLs).
  • Promote good practice sharing of work standards.

 

You

 

  • University degree in food/chemical/science/engineering
  • Relevant work experience within food industry
  • Excellent command of both oral and written English, native Hungarian language knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience with Lean methodology
