Project Engineer – Makó (Hungary) - Your Future Position?

 

Overall mission:

 

As a Project Engineer you will join the Engineering team in Makó and report to the Site Engineering Manager.

You will complete several investment and improvement projects like new technology, productivity improvements, EHS and Quality improvements to improve our plant positions in all dimensions (cost, quality, service, safety and sustainability). You will:

 

  • Produce all required project engineering and management documents: scope, cost, justification, timing, organization and responsibilities, risks.
  • Produce all project relevant concepts in collaboration with subject matter experts, clients, consultants and authorities, EHS, hygiene, GMP, logistics, concept and degree of automation.
  • Produce all required design documents: process design (block diagram, manufacturing flow sheet, P&ID), recipe and ingredient analysis, dynamic capacity calculation by process, layout and flow analysis, room book with all required specification of materials, simulation, cost estimate on asset level, project execution plan.
  • Produce detailed cost estimate.
  • Lead tender process, tender analysis and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and contractors.
  • Manage cost with cost control tool – recognize cost deviation ahead of time and apply corrective measures.
  • Manage timing and activities with time control tool – recognize project planning or delays ahead of time and apply corrective measures. Coordinate and control all works and services delivered by internal people or contractors
  • Maintain change order management
  • Ensure conformity with food safety (HACCP) and quality management regulations (e.g. ISO 9001:2008, FSSC 22000, AIB)
  • During working , You will keep the Food Safety principles in mind and aim to increase food safety awareness in all circumstances.
  • Comply with Health and Safety and Fire protection regulations.
  • Comply with management regulations and other directives and act.

 

You:

 

  • Degree in engineering (mechanical field)
  • Professional experience: Min. 2+ years' experience as a project engineer
  • Project management tools knowledge
  • Intermediate English language knowledge and native in Hungarian
  • Food industry knowledge
