Quality Specialist - Makó (Hungary) - Your future position?

 

Overall mission:

 

Manage product quality related tasks (handle complaints, customer quality requests supplier audits,) (investigations, preparation of complaint answer for commercial) as a specialist at Givaudan's Makó to meet lead time targets for complaint answers. You will be based in Makó, reporting to the Head of Quality directly.

 

You will:

 

  • Help maintain quality and food and feed safety systems, HACCP related programs, ISO, FSSC 22000 certifications
  • Manage product quality related tasks (handle complaints, customer quality requests supplier audits,) (investigations, preparation of complaint answer for commercial). Meet lead time targets for complaint answers
  • Establish corrective / preventive actions in cooperation with involved departments. Suggestions for local business process improvements to increase the quality of products and service. Identify deficiencies, look for efficiency improvements and implement them
  • Follow up on implementation and verification of corrective / preventive actions
  • Maintain and suggest programs of local / regional complaint handling systems
  • Periodically consolidate results and complaint status and prepare management information
  • Follow the status and closing of the Quality relevant QN’s
  • Establish, maintain and conduct training programs for Quality relevant aspects for new employees and other departments
  • Support Purchasing Group for vendor qualifications
  • Initiate / suggest improvements take in consideration the legal requirements.Perform internal and vendor audits as planned and report results to Quality head
  • Conduct customer visits in relation with quality issues and relationship management and promotion of quality values.Support Quality in all Quality related aspects
  • Active participant in the new standards adaptation and implementation
  • Keep a contact with the different departments in document management system related topics
  • Follow and Maintain the document management system
  • Control that the realization follows the time schedule. Inform the QM manager about the status
  • Follow the changes of the standards and Hungarian regulation
  • Active participant in the internal audits
  • Active participant in the new standards adaptation and implementation
  • Keep contact with the different departments in document management system related topics
  • Follow and maintain the document management system
  • Promote projects and implement programs in the area of Quality Systems, Food Safety, Quality Standards, and customer request/non conformities based on business plans
  • Assess and implement global agreed quality requirements from customers Ensure the agreed requirements introduction and implementation into the local Quality and Food safety system, HACCP related programs (ISO 9001:, Food safety and hygienic standards FSSC 22000 certifications) and Givaudan Global - Regional standard

 

You:

 

  • Higher education (University level) in Food Technology, Chemistry or Science
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position or 3-10 year experience in Quality system
  • Understanding of the food industry
  • Good English language skills, native Hungarian knowledge
  • Technical background (food industry machines; equipment's)
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, MS excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001, Food safety standards, FSSC 22000 standards
