Raw Material Request Planner - Makó (Hungary) - Your future position?

 

Overall mission:

 

As a Raw Material Request Planner you will manage the coordination of raw material deliveries being available for production in the right quality and quantity. You will be part of the local Planning Team working together with colleagues from several departments. You will be based at Makó, reporting to the Raw Material Request Planning Expert.

 

You will:

 

  • Participate in the setting up period of the planning department of Makó site
  • Check daily Material Request Plan (MRP) results on the raw material requirements
  • Make sure that all Raw Materials are available on time in the right quantity and quality
  • Issue, handle, update and monitor the Raw Material Purchase Orders, based on the MRP (incl. Price, delivery time, order confirmation and other issues)
  • Oversee deliveries including reminders to suppliers
  • Monitor of order confirmations ex suppliers
  • Handle express orders, expedite delivery dates, changes of order details including maintenance
  • Quality Notification handling to vendors and affiliates regarding rejects from QC
  • Coordinate inventory levels and identify slow and non movers
  • Manage exceptions and coordinate necessary actions
  • Communicate with Planners regarding delays or quantity changes
  • Ensure steady information flow among other department interfaces (QM/QC, Production, Warehouse)
  • Work together with Global and Local Buyers (contracts, open quantities, Vendor evaluation)
  • Maintain the Master Data of Raw Material
  • Participate in Raw Material related projects, e.g. Product Transfers
  • Partner with other Affiliates
  • Provide information on forecast if necessary in cooperation with buying.
  • Set-up Master Data for new raw materials from affiliates

 

General rules:

 

  • Ensure conformity with food safety (HACCP) and quality management regulations (e.g. FSSC 22000)
  • During working , You will keep the Food Safety principles in mind and aim to increase food safety awareness in all circumstances.
  • Comply with Health and Safety and Fire protection regulations.
  • Comply with management regulations and other directives and act accordingly.

 

You:

 

  • College / University Degree
  • 1-3 year's of planning and inventory management experience
  • SAP knowledge
  • Proficiency in English and Hungarian languages
  • German language is beneficial
