Senior Project Engineering Manager

 

About the Role:

 

The Senior Project Manager will lead and direct large/high-priority CAPEX Engineering projects requiring considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. 

 

You Will:

  • Project management:
  • Prepare the project planning and financial forecasts/estimates for all phases
  • Drive day-to-day execution of assigned strategic project and manage project resources to create a successful project delivery
  • Manage Project according to the globally CapEx/PM processes
  • Participate to the development of global CapEx/PM best practices 
  • Ensure adherence to Quality & EHS standards 

 

People management:

  • Assemble and manage the project team
  • Monitor project team performance 
  • Coach, mentor and motivate project team

 

Cooperation:

  • Deliver appropriate executive level communication to the project steering committee or Program Manager and stakehold-ers 
  • Collaborate with customer organization to ensure consistent and aligned needs are met
  • Provide consultation and participate to workshops, peer-reviews and Post Implementation Reviews in other Projects

 

You Have:

  • BSc/MSc degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Project Management certification (PMI, PRINCE2) an advantage
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian.
  • Experience in leading large green/brown field projects (10+ years) preferably in food/chemical industry
  • Experience in complex/matrix organizations
  • Experience in working with diverse cultures and multi-discipline specialists
  • Experience in contracts management and supplier selection processes
