Site Engineering Manager - Makó (Hungary) - Your future position?

 

Overall mission:

 

As the Site Engineering Manager, you will oversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of site infrastructure, utilities, and energy supply, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. Your role will manage budget plans, personnel, spare parts supply, and leading technical projects to improve plant availability, reliability, and efficiency. Through coaching and motivating staff, you will guide the implementation of global engineering best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will be located in Makó (Hungary) and report to the Head of Operations.

 

You will:

 

  • Manage utilities, infrastructure, building operation and maintenance activities
  • Ensure the compliance operation of the site from environmental aspects (e.g. odor, noise, water, and waste water) point of views

 

Manage Repairs and Maintenance

  • Manage the Preventive and Reactive maintenance, Technical Services activities with regard to technical, organizational, financial, machine reliability and administrative aspects under optimum use of personnel and means available
  • Plan, control and manage budget for the cost centers
  • Draft, control and manage personnel budget for cost centers
  • Be responsible for the spare part supply and the accurate operation of the spare part warehouse

 

Projects and Capex

  • Manage local project engineering activities by Project Engineering Manager and coordinates Capex on site
  • Coordinate Capex plan for the site (5 year plan, SAP)
  • Draft investment budget for the site

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Responsible for the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the entire infrastructure and energy supply
  • Continuous improvement to achieve higher plant reliability
  • Roll out and continuous improvement of technical operational processes, procedures following standards of global engineering and best practices
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of effectiveness of technical processes, ERP (SAP) support of productive process and people management
  • Assess, coach, motivate and qualify staff

 

You:

 

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • Fields of specialization: mechanical engineering/electrical engineering/plant engineering/systems and building services engineering

  • 6+ years of professional experience with 3+ year's of leadership experience

  • Design and construction of process plants

  • Energy generation and building services engineering

  • GMP and hygienic Engineering

  • Other requirement: IT skills: CAD (AutoCAD 2000), MS Office, SAP

  • Good oral and written command of Hungarian and English
