Sustainability Engineer - Makó (Hungary) - Your future position?
Overall mission:
You will be based in Makó and be par of the utility operations to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. You will focus on managing energy efficiency, water treatment, and lean system projects while driving CI and sustainability across the plant. You will report to the Site Utility Manager.
You will:
- Achieve optimum availability of utility equipment, analyzing the repair work and identify problems and anticipate equipment failure ahead of time
- Reviewing the operation of water and waste water installations, oversee occasional disinfection and cleaning tasks
- Analyse water and waste water sampling results, modification of the system
- Complete control of cooling water system and boiler water treatment technologies
- Monitor and documentation of the plant's energy usage. Identify and investigate possible energy over usage
- Ensure compliance (safety, environmental, food safety) of Utility plant
- Control ISO 50001 Energy Management system with key-users support
- Ensure the required documentation, drawings, manuals are maintained and available
- Support the continuous improvement at the utility area, and help to develop the lean commitment of the utility operators
You:
- Degree in engineering
- Expierience in factory engineering and maintenance strategy planning
- Building services engineering knowledge: operation and maintenance of air-handling, cooling and heating systems
- Food industry experience
- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies
- TPM
- Fluency in English (written/oral), native Hungarian knowledge
