Process Technology Manager - Makó (Hungary) - Your future position?

 

 

Overall mission:

 

The overall mission of the Process Technology Manager in Makó, Hungary is to ensure the successful transfer and commissioning of products into the Makó site. This includes managing the industrialization and scaling-up of new products and processes, ensuring conformity to regional process technology principles, and maintaining process instructions for existing products. The Process Technology Manager also plays a crucial role in supporting quality consistency and functionality of products, efficiency of production processes, and addressing internal and external complaints. Additionally, they are responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing the local Process Technology team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

You will be located in Makó and report directly to the Site Operations Manager.

 

You will:

 

  • Play main role in transfer and commissioning of products into Makó site
  • Manage (NPIR) new product and process flavor industrialization, scaling-up and hand-over to production
  • Ensure new formula conformity according to NPIR and regional Process technology principles. Maintain BOM process instructions (PI lines) of existing products
  • Provide support to achieve and maintain quality consistency and functionality of products and efficiency of production processes; support the local quality assessment process for new buy ingredients
  • Support Quality lab and Quality system for solving internal and external complaints including the usage of rejected production or raw materials
  • Manage internal complaints, (Z2-Q & P). Coordinate the corrective and preventive action. Lead the PDCA analysis in case of internal nonconformity complaint
  • Establish corrective / preventive actions in cooperation with involved departments. Suggestions for local business process improvements to increase the quality of products and service. Identify deficiencies, looks for efficiency improvements and implements them.
  • Provide analyse internal complaint date and provide improvement idea if necessary launch projects for further improvements
  • Collaborate with FC&A, Sales Regulatory Quality organization, Commercial organization to address Formula optimization initiative (e.g. Atlas briefs) and support the waste reduction effort in the end to end production process (Yield &Scrap, Rework, Repack )
  • Lead formula administration and technology aspects of change control projects (reformulations, transfers)
  • Provide support to achieve and maintain quality consistency and functionality of products and efficiency of production processes; support the local quality assessment process for new buy ingredients
  • Local Process Technology team
  • Oversee local PT team and facilitate functional integration into regional PT organization
  • Lead recruitment, training and ensure functional operation of local PT organization
  • Assure well trained, motivated, efficient PT team
  • Establish annual goals for the local PT team, individuals with the regional PT, local management and programs. Provide support for individuals to reach their own and team targets
  • Do regular performance reviews, succession planning and talent development
  • Reporting on project progress and results according to project role
  • Support new systems and workflows implementation and other change management related to product industrialization and PT tasks
  • Trigger and support the Continuous Improvement programs
  • Identify (and lead) continuous improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate process technology training related to equipment and manufacturing processes for newcomers and periodically for the factory staff

  • During working , You will keep the Food Safety principles in mind and strives to increase food safety awareness in all circumstances.
  • Comply with Health and Safety and Fire protection regulations.
  • Comply with management regulations and other directives and act

 

You:

 

  • Technological University degree in Food Technology, Chemistry or other science discipline
  • 5+ years of food industry experience in production, technology
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian
  • Solid computer applications and systems skills
  • Project management capability
  • Talent Development: acts as coach and mentor.
  • R&D experience is an advantage
