Warehouse Shift Leader - Your future position?

Overall mission:

You will help local warehousing teams to improve processes and increase efficiency. You will be located in Makó (Hungary) and report to the Warehousing Manager.

You will:

Coordinate goods receiving sample taking and administration:

• Operations planning stock inbound and Finished goods outbound

• Coordinate the picking process for production

• Lead the Replenishment process

• Inventory control and manage deviations

• Waste management control

• Physical inventory management and control

• Discard process coordination

• Coordinate plastic pallets and reusable containers cleaning

Lead the warehousing team:

• Coordinate the use of resources

• Responsible for your shift members working hour daily administration

• Support your assigned team leader under your guidance and the efficient performance of the operators under your leadership, ensuring the expected performance indicators
• You will assess leave requests from direct reports, taking into account the needs of employees and production requirements

• Target settings and conducts annual employee talks

• Inform on an ongoing basis according to the situation to the management

• Identify deficiencies, look for efficiency improvements and implement them

• Maintain contact with other departments, especially planning, production, quality, maintenance and distribution

• Support proper functioning and maintenance of equipment, machines and transport equipment (fork-lift trucks)

General rules

• Ensure conformity with food safety (HACCP) and quality management regulations (e.g. FSSC 22000, etc)

• During working , She/He keeps the Food Safety principles in mind and strives to increase food safety awareness in all circumstances.

• Comply with Health and Safety and Fire protection regulations.

• Comply with management regulations and other directives and act accordingly.

You:

• Completed vocational training

• Advanced training (shift management, warehousing logistics, IT)

• Fork-lift license

• Good IT skills, especially with MS Office, SAP

• English fit for negotiation

• 5 + years of experience in warehousing in the food industry

• Employee management (> 10 employees)

• Work in shift-based work
