We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who will play a key role in inspiring innovation and driving creative success across Spain and Portugal. Based at our vibrant site in L’Hospitalet del Llobregat, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams in Sales, Marketing, and Fragrance Development to turn creative ideas into scents that move and delight consumers.

 

The position reports to our Sales Director L&R.

In this exciting role, you will:

 

Market and Consumer Understanding

 

  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer preferences, market dynamics, and product categories within the Spanish and Portuguese regions.
  • Share insights and foster collaboration among marketing colleagues across categories and geographies to enrich strategic thinking.

 

Marketing Programs and Development

 

  • Identify opportunities within clients’ brands to create new fragrance concepts and visual directions.
  • Prepare and deliver category reviews and trend presentations that translate market insights into actionable strategies.
  • Tailor and present Givaudan’s value proposition to clients through compelling, customised presentations.
  • Work closely with Sales and Evaluation to define appropriate olfactory directions and support winning submissions to client briefs.
  • Participate in customer meetings, workshops and presentations to effectively support business development.
  • Design and support marketing programs that differentiate Givaudan in the marketplace and address evolving client needs.

 

Consumer, Industry and Market Knowledge

 

  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of fragrance trends, products, key customers, competitors, and technologies at a regional and global level.
  • Communicate confidently using fragrance language, recognising key olfactory notes and fragrance families.
  • Analyse market and consumer data to strengthen consumer awareness, identify business opportunities, and support strategic decision‑making.

 

Your profile:

 

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; proficiency in French is a strong asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in marketing or a related function, ideally within the fragrance, FMCG, or creative industries.
  • Experience on both agency and client sides is considered a plus.
  • Strong grasp of B2B and B2C marketing principles and channels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and deliver high-impact presentations.
  • Creative mindset combined with analytical rigour to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Skilled in collaboration, building solid relationships with clients and internal teams across functions and geographies.
  • Available to travel for customer meetings, market visits and internal collaborations
