Operational Buyer - Raw Material, your future role?

 

You will manage raw material availability and ensure its supply to our Taste & Wellbeing production sites across the Americas region (both North America and Latam). You will be focused on assigned vendors and raw material categories, being accountable and responsible for the entire Requisition & Fulfillment (R&F) processing. You will report to the Raw Material R&F Team Lead.

 

You will be part of Givaudan’s Global Business Services (GBS), which provides support to our businesses in the Americas regions. You will work under a hybrid working model, 4 days from home and 1 day a week at our GBS offices located in Martinez, Buenos Aires Province.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

Purchase Order Management

  • Release Purchase Orders to third party suppliers according to sourcing and fulfillment instructions defined by the global Category Managers and within quality and time constraints.
  • Track and follow up Purchase Orders deliveries to ensure security of supply.

 

Issue resolution

  • Manage Raw Material availability issue resolution with Raw Material planners of each production site.
  • Coordinate delivery and quality non conformities in relation with plant partners.
  • Support investigation of root cause analysis on invoice non conformities.

 

Suppliers management

  • Manage suppliers and their performance. 
  • Resolve major suppliers’ issues and complaints.
  • Implement improvement action plans discussed and agreed with Vendor Performance Analyst and Category Managers.

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree or advanced studies in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, International Trade or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar roles in Procurement or Purchasing areas at international companies.
  • Experience in data management, with large amount of data involved.
  • Experience in SAP or other procurement systems.
  • Advanced level of English, both oral and written.
