Supply Chain Control Tower Manager

As a Supply Chain Control Tower Team Manager, reporting to the DTC Head of Delivery, you will contribute to a proactive and agile Supply Chain process for a better customer satisfaction through high level E2E overview of operational processes, facilitating regional escalations, and seeking improvement actions on the grounds of Continuous Improvement.
In this position, you will be in permanent contact with our sites supporting the end to end of Supply Chain processes with a high impact in our customer service. 


Main responsibilities:
•    Actively works to continuously improve processes
•    Builds constructive and effective relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders in the end-to-end Supply Chain
•    Act as a main point of contact for the all relevant regional and Global heads in relation to defined Control Tower processes.
•    Lays out work in an organized manner and monitors progress and results
•    Provide professional support for the team: Coach team members, set goals, evaluate skill development, develop individual action plans and train team as needed
•    Issue resolution within the Control Tower
•    Supervise day to day operations in Control Tower:
•    Monitor Customer orders, identify orders at risk and follow-up with stakeholders when necessary
•    Coordinate and prioritize resolution of exceptions orders and orders in distress with internal stakeholders following Division guidelines
•    Own and coordinate the prioritization in case of crisis following Division guidelines
•    Close follow up with stakeholders to ensure the pending actions are accurate and updated on-time.
•    Liaise with Customer Care front office to provide customers with the best alternatives
•    Handle and resolve any customer escalation by providing the necessary solutions
•    Propose and drive processes and organization optimization for more efficiency and reduced cost
•    Work on reoccurring exceptions and Continuous Improvement with stakeholders
•    Continuously seek information from the business on Customers, production etc.
•    Extract and update data for Customer Care Support Office Visual Performance Measurement.

Your professional profile includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Languages: Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
  • 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • 1 year of experience in team-leading role
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and advanced MS Excel.
  • Six Sigma/ Lean Green belt certified preferred
  • Understanding/experience of programming languages or data analytics tools is an advantage. 
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Learning agility 
  • Presentation and communication skills.
