Sampling Technician (Operator) - Your future position?
As the Sampling Technician , you will carry out assigned production orders from the Shift Leader under direct supervision, by following established procedures and guidelines to perform various simple manual tasks in the production process. You will be based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka reporting to the Production Manager.
Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:
- Under the supervision of a more experienced Operator/Leader, operate designated machines and production equipment, including blenders, sieves, batching systems, multipurpose reactors, spinning cone columns, bulk tanks, packaging systems, ovens, and mills.
- Perform tasks such as pre-batching materials, blending, mixing, dispensing, packaging, heating, cooking, adding enzymes, compounding, and filtering.
- Collect, move, and load intermediates or raw materials into production machines while understanding bill of materials and formula specifications to ensure accurate quantities and sequences.
- Manufacture products safely and timely, adhering to predefined process instructions to meet quality standards.
- Accurately read control instruments and maintain neat, accurate records for all operations.
- Troubleshoot problems under the guidance of a more experienced Operator and assist in in-process quality testing to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Prepare product packaging for the next production step or final shipment to customers according to departmental specifications.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, completing all sanitation and housekeeping duties as required.
- Adhere to all relevant requirements, including GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety guidelines.
- Ability to work in shifts.

Your professional profile includes:
- Education: SPM, High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years of overall work experience in flavour, ingredient, food or chemical manufacturing industry.
- Preferred experience with SAP bar coding/scanning.
- Basic math, reading, and recordkeeping skills.
- Proficient in basic PC skills, including MS Office products.
- Experience using RF scanners and labeling.
- Knowledge of ingredients, including color, odor, order of addition, and other relevant quality factors.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
