Account Manager, your future position? 

 

Our comprehensive knowledge of local flavors, global footprint and strategic insights ensure close partnerships with our customers. With a customized approach to product creation, recent acquisitions, and the launch of our 2025 strategy, the Flavors Taste and Wellbeing Division is a powerhouse of knowledge, innovation, and creativity equipped to surprise customers and consumers with fresh, unique ideas and solutions. In this role, you aim to deliver sales and profit growth through direct customer relationship building and managing the internal resources and Taste & Wellbeing development projects in line with Givaudan strategy. If you are passionate about delivering on the customer sales target and generating new wins in all key categories, then this role will allow you to make an impact.

In this exciting role, you will:

 

Account Management: Assume lead role for all Givaudan activities for food & beverage designated accounts.

Lead and influence strategic account planning. Develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts. Develop thoughtful understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition data. Manage brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans.

 

Negotiate and Collaborate: Manage large commercial projects in collaboration with Flavor Creation and Application. Ensure visibility and exposure for us at customers by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with essential product demonstrations and technical to technical interface. Follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch. Negotiate pricing agreements following company guidelines.

 

Business Development: Grow our business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines and by generating a broad base of new business opportunities. Cultivate customer relationships with important decision-makers, positioning us as preferred supplier and ensuring we are positioned to participate in targeted briefs and on core supplier lists

Your professional profile includes: 

  • University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering or other related fields.
  • 5-7 years’ successful sales, business development or customer relationship experience in food, chemical or related industry, with strong knowledge on B2B environment.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong drive and determination to achieve with a strong commitment to Ethics and Compliance.
  • Sound ability to generate new business by identifying unmet customer needs.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key customer decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting skills.
  • Strong experience executing all account management steps in the brief handling process; understanding how to manage scale-ups.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Strong Inter-personal skills and experience in managing activities remotely.
