As a Perfumer in Givaudan, working out of our Mexico office, you will work for a company that touches millions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. You will report to our Regional Head of Consumer Products, while being part of a team of experienced Perfumers and in a position to develop and share your expertise together with your colleagues inside and outside of your own team. We are looking for a dynamic professional who can be a good addition to our team-work culture.

You will be accountable for:  

• Create to Win: Translate winning fragrances into core forms, according to defined success criteria from the customers. Develop fragrances and fragrance themes, reaching defined key success criteria in area(s) of specialization and collaboratively on proactive and reactive projects.  Specifically develop ancillary versions for fragrance formulas submitted, in the different formats requested, and reach important performance criteria set.  Build and manage a portfolio of winning themes, and adapt them for different bases, price points and norms

• Improve to Engage: Develop skills working across a spectrum of creation from Activation (more technical and re- application oriented) to Innovation (more oriented towards creating novelty in a context of library enrichment and proactive development). Promote the use of Givaudan proprietary materials and specialties in the design process as well through new wins, both in internal and external communication and interactions. Enhance creative and technical skills in area(s) of specialisation. Work on assigned "Product Service" projects on Fine Fragrances Noam customers as assigned by evaluation, supporting the creative and technical perfumery teams.

• Influence to Collaborate:  Enhance market knowledge and consumer understanding in given area(s) of specialization, staying up to date with new market products, consumer tastes and olfactive trends. Support Sales, Development and Marketing efforts by working with customers on projects, presentations, and training sessions; participate in customer visits, building and strengthening relationships with them. Develop Core Forms perfumery as a function and grow junior talent into a pipeline for future core forms perfumery.

Your professional profile includes:

•  University Degree preferred: science/chemistry or other suitable field of study

• Verbal and written command of English (and any other language)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Jr. Perfumer

• Win projects through a first collection of new wins

• Able to develop and always enrich own portfolio of winning themes and perfumes

• Demonstrate a sound base of technical skills, competencies and knowledge in area(s) of specialty

• Competent at managing own project portfolio, setting priorities and managing resources involved in projects

• Develop ability to work collaboratively in the creation process (P2P)

• Show a good market and consumer understanding in the area(s) of specialty
