Key Account Manager - Your future position?


As a Key Account Manager at Givaudan, you will work for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. In your role, you will play a key role in the team with your vast experience and network in the food industry. You will contribute to the growth of the company with your advanced skills across assigned account management, leading and influencing others, and strategic account planning. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be part of our Commercial Team UK & Ireland.

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Account management for some of our key clients, while proactively generating a broad base of new business opportunities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition
  • Ensure Givaudan is well-positioned to participate in targeted briefs and on core lists
  • Manage commercial projects
  • Ensure visibility and exposure by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with key product demonstrations and technical to technical interface
  • Manage brief pipeline to achieve growth plans
  • Follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch
  • Defend base business in key markets and with key customers
  • Lead negotiation of pricing agreements in accordance with company guidelines
  • Deliver budgeted sales and gross profit results within local sales territory

 

You?

 

Are you a strategic, creative thinker? Do you have an extensive understanding of the flavour industry, including consumer and industry trends? Are you passionate about leading and influencing others and strategic account planning? Then come join us and impact your world!

 

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • At least 3 years experience of successful sales, marketing, or customer relationship experience in the food or related industry
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively incorporate comprehensive knowledge and analysis into ADPs
  • Extensive understanding of the flavour industry, including consumer and industry trends, extensive knowledge of competitor activity
  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of account profitability; can develop strategies for continuous improvement
  • Can identify and articulate value drivers for key customers and strategically position products and technology
  • University degree
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Full clean driving license
  • Willingness to travel
