Manufacturing Process Engineer

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer at our Mt. Olive, NJ manufacturing facility, you will play an integral role in driving quality and performance to meet or exceed targets while working closely with the production team to identify gaps in our process as they relate to Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.  If you possess effective leadership, management and communication skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, this is an excellent opportunity for you to consider as a next step in your career.

 

  • Operational Excellence: Measure and analyze operational data and make recommendations for process improvements.  Integrate performance metrics into production process.  Contribute to ongoing improvement projects as a team member/team lead, deliver end user training, support change management and stabilization. 

 

  • Quality Compliance:  Author and reviewer of ISO9001 Work Instructions.  Deliver training to end users, ensuring compliance.  Monitor, analyze, act and communicate on all Quality KPIs during (Stable Ops Every Day) SOED meetings.  Perform root cause investigations, track and trend Z2 non-conformances and deliver correction action/preventative action as needed.

 

  • Leadership:  Provide support and coaching to Group Leaders and team to ensure maturity of self-directed workforce model.   Lead a Behavioral Risk Improvement (BRI) team.  Lead a SOED (Stable Ops Every Day) group.

Your professional profile includes

  • Bachelor's degree  (Engineering, Business Management/Operations Management or related field) required
  • 1-3 yrs. experience in operations management; background in people management
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and follow-up skills
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma)
  • Solid foundation of data collection methods and process engineering.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer focus, commitment to quality and effectiveness in varying environments, tasks and responsibilities.
