Applications Laboratory Technician - Your future position?

As the Applications Laboratory Technician, you will provide technical support for customer about the use of our active ingredients and raw materials in cosmetic formulations. You will be based in Givaudan Mumbai while reporting to the Innovative Formulation Manager based in France.

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:

• Maintain Raw Materials and S3D concepts on a designated shelf for internal use.
• Evaluate compatibility of Raw Materials individually and in synergy, documenting local formulations at warmer temperatures in the "formulation tips" file.
• Replicate S3D formulations using local raw materials and adapting to local taste preferences.
• Conduct competition analysis of our ingredients in formulations.
• Provide technical support for client projects in collaboration with Key Account Managers (KAM).
• Visit clients to offer additional technical support.
• Coordinate with Fragrances for seamless integration with formulations.
• Assist in archiving technical documentation and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Operate and contribute to the maintenance of standard laboratory equipment.
• Record and promptly communicate experimental results.
• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment.

Your professional profile includes:

• Degree or higher education qualification in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in formulation within a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques applied to cosmetic formulation.
• Strong knowledge of good laboratory practices and safe handling of chemicals.
• Technical expertise in cosmetic raw materials, formulation, and application.
• Well-developed olfactory abilities.
• Basic knowledge of Chemistry and strong understanding of ISO protocols.
• Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong eagerness to learn, proactive, independent, and resourceful.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Applications.
• Proficient in spoken and written English is a must.
