Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to join our team as an Analyst, Gallery manager. As the Fragrance Gallery Manager, you will play a crucial part in analyzing big data, building a fragrance winning library through effective fragrance selection while fostering collaborative stakeholder engagement. With a focus on content management, KPI reporting, strong data analysis, fragrance promotion, and staying ahead of market and consumer trends, you will have the opportunity to interlink with multiple individuals and departments, ensuring a seamless flow of information and ideas. Core Responsibilities:

Gallery Content Management

The fragrance library houses a curated collection of fragrance references specifically tailored for the South Asia region. This comprehensive library serves as the source for fragrancing multiple end formats within our consumer products. Our fragrance selection process is strategically focused on meeting the preferences of our clients, consumers and the most popular end-uses in various regions. By aligning with market demands, we aim to enhance our speed to market and deliver products that resonate with our customers.

 

  • Take ownership of the Pre-validation, Validation, and Revalidation process, ensuring that it is conducted on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for tracking compliance with the Creative Fragrance Management (CFM) guidelines, ensuring that all fragrances in the Gallery meet the required standards.
  • Conducting Category Gap Analysis, identifying areas where the Gallery can be improved.
  • Collaborate closely with Category Leads to build a Gallery that is efficient and effective in meeting the customer's needs.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating information related to the fragrances in the Gallery. This includes olfactory descriptions, motives of creation, collection details, and reservation information.
  • Ensure that the Gallery information is accurate and up to date.

 

Gallery KPI Reporting and Analysis

The relevance of our library is centered around its alignment with the needs of the region. This is accomplished through meticulous data analysis, reporting, and identifying gaps and opportunities that can be leveraged from our library. Possessing strong analytical and reporting skills is advantageous in identifying these gaps and opportunities, allowing us to build a best-in-class fragrance library.

 

  • Prepare monthly reports on the pre-validation, validation, and refresh activities of the Gallery. These reports include conclusions and observations that identify areas of concern, opportunities for improvement, under-usage of certain fragrances, and other relevant insights.
  • Assist the Development Management team in evaluating the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data.
  • Provide valuable insights and support the implementation of work programs that aim to enhance efficiency within the Development organization.

 

Gallery Power User

  • Training new Givaudan employees on the Gallery Tool.
  • Ensure that employees have a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively use the tool for fragrance selection and evaluation.
  • Actively seeks feedback and suggestions from the Givaudan community regarding the use of the Gallery Tool.
  • Gather insights to identify areas for continuous improvement and enhancements to the tool.
  • Actively participates in all IT activities aimed at improving or modifying the current Gallery Tool.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that the tool meets the evolving needs of the organization.

 

Promotion

  • Work closely with the Evaluation and Sales teams to develop strategies for promoting fragrances outside of collections.
  • Explore innovative ways to showcase and market fragrances to attract customers.
  • Actively promote and support "Special" perfumes or collections.
  • Create marketing initiatives and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure the success of these special fragrances.
  • Identifies opportunities within and across categories to highlight and share the best new themes.
  • Leverage Consumer Market Insights (CMI) or successes to showcase and share these themes with the broader organization

 

Industry & Marketing

  • Stay updated on market trends and anticipate market tastes. Collaborate closely with marketing colleagues to generate proactive fragrance concepts that align with market demands.

 

Your professional profile includes:

  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in doing data analysis within FMCG/relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of Perfumers' themes and collections.
  • Familiarity with one or more product categories and product design principles.
  • Advanced product and technical knowledge, including innovations, manufacturing, stability, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of fragrance products and key customers.
  • Broad understanding of market dynamics and olfactory trends.
  • Ability to predict market acceptance.
  • Be a team player and work well with different stakeholders
