Sales Manager - Your future position?
As the Sales Manager , you will represent Givaudan Taste and Wellbeing in Bangladesh, collaborating closely with our local agent and distributor. The ideal candidate should possess a strategic mindset to support and grow our flavours and ingredients business across various product categories, including dairy, beverages, baked goods, snacks, savoury items, and other food products within the assigned market, engaging with both existing and new customers. You will report to the Business Manager while being based in Mumbai, India.

Achieve the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Givaudan.

Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with key food customers. Conduct visits to existing clients and identify new opportunities, performing business reviews, negotiations, product presentations, and promotions.

Provide regular insights to management regarding opportunities for Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing in Bangladesh, leveraging cross-functional collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, procurement, QC/QA, and finance.

Develop and execute account development plans that outline customer strategies and requirements, managing a robust project pipeline with in-depth knowledge of key projects and their likelihood of success.

Oversee customer orders and service levels, negotiating prices in accordance with the agreed sales policy.

Ensure timely updates of customer data, product portfolios, pricing, delivery terms, payment terms, and sales forecasts in the relevant database, while following up with clients on outstanding and late payments.

Your professional profile includes:

MBA or Postgraduate degree in Sales & Marketing, or Food Science/Food Technology.

8 to 10 years of work experience in the food ingredients and/or flavours industry (B2B).

Comprehensive understanding of local cultural and behavioral aspects, along with experience in the Bangladesh market.

Strong technical and commercial knowledge related to flavours and food ingredients, including their end-use applications.

Excellent business acumen with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly.

Strong sense of maturity, independence, and agility.

Proactive approach with strong decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in Bengali (both spoken and understood) is advantageous.
