Senior Regulatory Specialist - Your future position?

As the Senior Regulatory Specialist , you will provide advanced regulatory support to internal and external customers in order to ensure that all regulatory requirements are fulfilled, according to legal requirements and corporate guidelines. You will be based in Mumbai while reporting to the Head of Regional Regulatory.

Regulatory Support

• Provide internal customers with consistent and compliant formula reviews and documentation in an expeditious timeframe to meet global commercial, creation and research initiatives.

• Provide sales support in commercializing assigned products.

• Identify issues relevant to commercial opportunities.

• Interact with commercial teams as guided to provide regulatory support. Effectively provide regulatory guidance to commercial teams and other regulatory staff.

• Assist regulatory managers as assigned.

• Identify issues and provide appropriate solutions.

Customer Support

• Identify issues relevant to customer opportunities.

• Develop relationship with assigned customer contacts.

• Obtain thorough knowledge of assigned customer requirements.

• Deliver support on time, meeting customer expectations.

• Generate customer documents.

Processes and Systems Management

• Develop and implement routine processes.

• Maintain and manage request logs.

People Management

• Provide guidance to Jr. Specialists.

• Identify, develop and provide training in areas of need for the department.

• Train junior department staff members.

Your professional profile includes:

• University / Bachelor's Degree in food, biological or physical sciences.

• 3-5 years of experience in food or flavour regulatory affairs.

• Good English, local language essential.

• Strong PC skills, including competency in Microsoft Office products.

• Advanced knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements.

• Thorough understanding of components of appropriate business processes and internal systems.

• Thorough knowledge of assigned customer specific requirements.

• Proficient with regulatory systems.
