Process Engineer - Liquids, Emulsions and Pastes, your future role?
You will be part of our Taste & Wellbeing (Flavours) business. As a Process Engineer, you will be specialized in our Liquids, Emulsions and Pastes technologies, and your main goal will be to improve and standardize their processes, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality and Givaudan Production System (GPS) standards, working in collaboration with the Production, Process Technology, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Planning areas.
You will report into the Process Engineering Manager and you will work onsite at our manufacturing mill located at Munro, Buenos Aires Province.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Promote best manufacturing practices through the Givaudan Production System program (GPS)
- Review local standards linked to manufacturing and process technology in collaboration with the regional team.
- Lead or provide support to projects related to the GPS program, aligned with the local and regional team.
- Improve processes that affect site performance based on SQDCP (safety, quality, delivery, cost reduction, productivity).
- Identify scope and requirements for process improvement projects in collaboration with Engineering.
- Support technical commissioning of new equipment/processes.
- Coordinate local and regional projects.
- Create process standards and improvements.
Manage the resolution of technical problems and help develop the Master Plan:
- Represent quality and process efficiency requirements (URS) in local projects (CAPEX).
- Support process problems solving that require technical intervention.
- Provide information on technical process for Site Master Plans, linked to the Site Operations, Regional Engineering and Global Manufacturing Excellence teams.
- Provide technical support of production transfer projects within the region, in collaboration with local process technicians.
- Support complex investigations related to process failures.
- Support the technical development of the local technical team and provide technical training.
Packaging
- Help analyze packaging changes or implementation of new ones, and the technology required for said operation, supporting the local and regional Operation teams.

Your professional profile includes:
- University degree in Engineering (Foods, Chemical. Mechanical or Industrial).
- At least 3 years of experience in Process Engineering-related roles at manufacturing sites with background in the chemicals or food industries.
- Yellow, Green or Black Belts certifications.
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies for liquids and emulsions
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence and Problem Resolution.
- Knowledgeo of project management using TPM, Indicators, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools.
- Knowledge of statistical tools such as Minitab.
- Knowledge of product processing and industrialization processes.
- Advanced level of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
- Knowledge of indicators management.
- Upper-intermediate level of English, both oral and written, is a must-have.
