HR Advisor (4 days/week)

In the Benelux and Northern Europe we have 7 Givaudan sites that receive HR support from the HR team Benelux & Nordic. A duo consisting of 1 HR Manager and 1 HR Advisor support the Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Research and staff departments in our offices in Naarden, Belgium and Sweden. We are looking for an HR Advisor for this team. As HR Advisor you will report to the HR Manager.
The position of HR Advisor is a broad advisory function, in which you have freedom of action and you can make a differ-ence yourself. There are many internal development opportunities (both on-the-job and coaching or formal training) and career opportunities, also internationally.


You will:

Recruitment
•    Recruitment and Selection of new employees and interns and support to managers both in terms of content and pro-cess.
•    Building and maintaining a proactive candidate network for certain positions, ensuring the right Employee Value Prop-osition and communication to the target group. For example, you organize company visits with student associations and you participate in fairs at schools and universities to promote Givaudan as an employer.


Onboarding
•    Supporting managers with a good onboarding of new employees
•    Ensure proper onboarding of employees who come to the Netherlands from abroad in consultation with this employee, the manager and the relevant (government) authorities and service providers.


Absenteeism counseling & sustainable employability
•    Supporting managers in absenteeism management of long-term and frequently sick employees in line with the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter. Consult with the company doctor and ensure a complete and correct absenteeism file.
•    Initiating and supporting initiatives in the field of sustainable employability.


Employee training & development
•    Provide advice to managers and employees in drawing up development plans.
•    Promotion and organization of Givaudan training courses held in the Netherlands.
•    Organization and evaluation of Dutch language training for employees coming from abroad.


Projects
•    Making a substantive contribution to and/or leading local or international HR projects in the field of employment conditions, initiatives from the head office, new relevant legislation, employee engagement survey, recruitment or developlement.


Miscellaneous
•    Creating and maintaining digital personnel files.
•    Working closely with our Givaudan colleagues in the Shared Service Center in Budapest and checking contracts and letters created by them.
•    Answering questions from employees about working conditions.


You?
•    Completed HBO education in the field of Personnel & Organization or comparable.
•    At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an internationally operating organization.
•    Good command of Dutch and English language
•    Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
•    Easily learns new (business) systems and likes to get the most out of them
•    Good advice, presentation and organization skills
•    Project management skills
•    Team player
•    Accurate and structured
