Internship Marketing Benelux – Your future position

As a Marketing intern with Givaudan - the global leader in the flavour and fragrance industry - you will be part of the Marketing group. You will be mainly responsible for analysing product categories and brands to identify trends, make commercial and marketing strategy recommendations and translate these trends into meaningful flavour solutions for our customers.

Givaudan is currently hiring a marketing intern for the Benelux market. The position is based at our site in Naarden, the Netherlands. The internship duration is between four and six months. Sounds interesting? It could well be your perfect opportunity if, like us, you always aim to exceed customer needs, deliver value and are skilled at fostering strong relationships. 

In this exciting role you will:

•    Analyse Food and Beverages product categories and different brands to identify trends, competiive dynamics and brand challenges and make well informed commercial and marketing strategy recommendations.
•    Actively support reactive projects with a customer focus and a shorter turnaround time.
•    Learn about the latest development of food and beverages trends in the global, European and local markets.
•    Inspire the Givaudan commercial and technical team with information about new interesting product launches, consumer insights and marketing news for every segment (Beverages, Sweet Goods & Dairy, Snacks and Savoury) in our monthly segment meetings. 
•    Build pro-active local promotions including a storyline, value proposition and demo prototypes together with the Givaudan technical department.
•    Have access to data (e.g., Mintel, Global data, Euromonitor and FMCG Gurus), Givaudan inter-nal company tools and consumer researches to expand your knowledge in the innovative and high paced Food and Beverages industry!
•    Work closely with and report to the local Marketing Manager responsible for the Benelux region.

Your professional profile includes:

•    Student in a Bachelor or Master program (or similar) in Marketing, Business Administration or Food Technology at University or Business School (3rd year);
•    Passionate with all aspects of marketing, from inspiration to commercialization;
•    High interest within the food and beverages industry;
•    Strong organizational and executional skills with the ability to think of the big picture and break it down into steps to be managed, with great attention to detail;
•    Ability to build marketing presentation, very solution-oriented with an innovative way of thinking;
•    An independent, self-assured personality; 
•    Team player with strong customer-oriented focus;
•    Expert with PowerPoint and Excel;
•    Excellent written and spoken English International experience is a plus (for example, studies or internships abroad).
