Manager Maintenance and Reliability at Givaudan – your future position?

The mission of Givaudan Operations Netherlands is to manage our operation to become the benchmark in our Givaudan world. Your task is to lead the maintenance team within the broad operations field, to improve and to ensure that especially the production can continue flawlessly. To be successful in these continuous changes, we want to meet a technical expert who is good at creating structure and can lead the experienced maintenance team in an inspiring way. You will work with an experienced and motivated team.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Leading the team; you directly lead 2 Reliability Engineers, the Team Leader Maintenance, 4 Maintenance Planners a Technical Administrator and a Technical Stock Keeper. You continue to build a top working culture, motivating people to participate and demonstrate commitment. You inspire others and celebrate successes. Performance management cycles and other people processes hold no secrets for you;
  • Safety: safety is in your DNA, and you inspire your people to act accordingly;
  • Continuous improvement: you’ll motivate your teams towards a continuous improving organization, applying LEAN principles, with a focus on training, documenting, and standardizing work processes in practical, and sustainable manner. You have good financial knowledge about action and improvement;
  • Maintenance Execution: Daily follow-up and correcting or improving the technical availability of installations and equipment is part of this dynamic function. Preventive plans and timely execution of planned maintenance activities is an essential part;
  • Maintenance: Anticipating and drawing up maintenance plans for the next 3 years contributes to transparency and collaboration with stakeholders. To claim an impeccable technical status, it is necessary to manage KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, Downtime, Costs and share of preventive maintenance. You are also a partner in the Site Masterplan teams for Naarden and Barneveld.
  • Stakeholder management: work with all partners as manufacturing operators, planners, material handlers as with production shift leaders, departmental managers, regional Maintenance and Engineering and other site teams to ensure delivery of products to our customers.

Your professional profile includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in: Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Science) 
  • Experience in the food industry knowing design desired standards is a pro
  • 5+ years related experience in a manufacturing process environment.
  • Maintenance literate
  • Proficient in English and Dutch
  • Expertise in SAP is a plus.

 

Mobility and Ambition

Future assignments outside the Netherlands can be part of the career planning. Ambition beyond the technical boundaries is required.
