And do you like to taste newly developed products and taste concepts and brainstorm with our product developers and flavourists on the next generation of food?

As Marketing Manager in our Taste & Wellbeing division, you will provide competitive-edge marketing to support sales objectives in our very creative and sophisticated Taste and Wellbeing industry. As you share your market analysis and consumer knowledge, you will be the ‘go-to’ brand expert for all our key customer brands and hold vital market knowledge of new flavour launches, and current product trends.

Market strategy – Doing the right things
Build in-depth market understanding (consumers, customers, competitors); be sparring partner for the commercial director and the sales head on local strategy and strategic planning; drive development in BNLX market action plan; identify market opportunities based on the local market and customer needs & endorse these on the Western European agenda; help drive Western European strategic business initiatives.
 
Drive customer centricity – With the right mindset
Drive customer-centric thinking and take the customer’s perspective; ensure freshness in thinking and inspiration in the organization and be an internal sparring partner for Key Account Managers and Product Development; Link with other markets and segments within Western Europe to ensure sharing of info and best practices.
 
Excellence in execution – Executed in the right way
Develop close relationships with customers on the country and regional levels; act fast on emerging market opportunities; adapt and deploy global and regional promotions, capabilities and innovation according to local needs; drive customer value & sales through winning, customer-relevant value propositions: maximum ROI, true relationships; track sales and marketing KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
 
 
You?
Are you a creative thinker who can conceptualize and articulate a creative vision? And passionate about food and flavours? Are you a proactive self-starter with good influencing and leadership skills? Then come join us – and impact your world.
 
Your professional profile includes:

  • At least a BA degree in Food Technology, or Marketing / Business Administration with a proven affinity for the food industry
  • At least 5 - 10 years of Marketing experience, a solid understanding of marketing strategy and execution including brand positioning, building value propositions, and commercialization of new products
  • B2B Marketing experience within the Flavour industry is preferred
  • A good dose of pragmatism and a hands-on results-oriented mentality
  • Team player, experienced in working in multidisciplinary teams in a global matrix environment
  • Able to handle complexity, plan and set priorities
  • Solid business acumen
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%), mostly within BNLX
