Regional Product Manager - Your future position? 

As a Regional Product Manager Snacks EAME in our flavour division you will guide the development and commercialization of new technologies and technical projects following the segment strategy. You will become the expert of the Snacks product portfolio, ensuring it is competitive and relevant for our customers. In your role you will work with a variety of partners in our commercial organization, S&T (Science and Technology), Flavor Creation and Application, Purchasing, Sales and Marketing.

 

In this exciting role you will:

  • Manage the Snacks product and technology portfolio: Manage assigned regional product portfolio to ensure it is relevant, competitive, profitable and aligned with the company strategy. Manage the existing product portfolio, identify non-performing products and recommend deletion.
  • Help provide Sales and Gross Margin targets, working with ID and pricing team to establish price levels. 
  • Establish Improvement needs and manage the innovation pipeline: Manage the complete innovation pipeline for the Snacks segment, leading complex innovation projects with several partners in the EAME region.
  • Identify business development opportunities and establish innovation needs and gaps for the region.
  • Work with S+T, Operations and Supply Chain to resolve issues affecting product cost and supply
  • Drive commercialization of innovation: Build commercialization plan with the Marketing Director and the Category Marketing Manager and develop customer relevant value propositions for the product portfolio.
  • Engage with local partners (Marketing, Flavour Creation & Application and Sales) to guide product launch in the region and identify customer opportunities (e.g., jointly develop promotional plan, arrange sales force training with local marketing, coordinate the development of samples and demos).
  • Support the technical group in preparation of the launch of new products and technologies by development of proper training material and direct support.

  • University level technical background followed by Marketing exposure
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing product platforms in food or flavour industry
  • Technical or B2B Marketing experience in an international environment
  • Ability to develop deep product knowledge
  • Experience with marketing strategy and principles including commercialization of new products.
  • Ability to crystallize clear messages from complex sources and data
  • Strong project management skills, analytical skills and presentation skills
  • Passion for Innovation and experience in innovation management
  • Experience working with people from technical and new ideas related backgrounds
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region (25% of time)
