Regional Marketing Manager, Europe - Taste & Wellbeing - Your future position?

 

As Regional Marketing Manager Europe with Givaudan, you will be part of the Regional Innovation Marketing team in Europe and report directly to the Marketing & CSI Director Europe. In this exciting role, you will be mainly responsible for defining and driving the assigned growth platform strategy, priorities, and action plans and for partnering with our global and local teams, sales and technical to provide marketing expertise internally and externally.


This role can be based in Kemptthal (Switzerland) or Naarden (The Netherlands).

You will:

  • Build and drive the European growth platform strategy and value proposition by providing a perspective on regional landscape and insights; including market dynamics, competitive landscape, trends, consumer insights, and customer needs.  
  • Plan and execute European Innovation Roadmaps and initiatives by partnering with Consumer Sensory Insights, Product Development, Product Management, and Creation teams and delivering impactful Marketing programs.
  • Drive and execute relevant Food Experience trends and activation Programs.
  • Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams on breakthrough commercialization opportunities; while you are collecting relevant market needs and feedback into the regional and global organization you are also ensuring that our products, technologies, and concepts are relevant to the markets, fully understood by our local teams and well known by our customers.
  • Be the internal ambassador for the growth platform assigned and increase engagement, and knowledge exchange, and establish best practices within the broader marketing community in Europe.
  • Provide strategic marketing support to selected regional customers to deliver innovation.

 

You have:

  • University Degree in Business/Marketing 
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, including building marketing strategy, commercialization of new products, and creative activations
  • Passion for food and beverages and consumer behavior
  • B2B and/or B2C experience, preferably in a food and/or beverage manufacturer
  • Customer focus, strategic thinking, and excellent analytical skills
  • Experienced in driving internal engagement across complex/matrix organizations
  • Experienced in working with diverse cultures and multidiscipline specialists
  • Is creative in approach, originates ideas, and can sell ideas internally
  • Business fluent in English; other European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel in the region 15-20%
