As the Regional Quality Laboratory Excellence Program Manager for Europe and SAMEA, you will be responsible for representing the quality labs in regional and cross-functional projects. You will serve as the Regional Process Owner and will lead projects aiming to continuously improve quality labs.

 

You will report to the Head of Quality Europe and you will be part of the Regional Quality Team.

Location of the role can be in Dortmund (DE), Zuerich (CH), Naarden (NL) or Budapest (HU)

 

You will:

  • Manage projects (OpEx, automation, cycle time, ring testing, EDI with vendors, KPIs, best practice, calibration, outsourcing / in-sourcing decisions, reduced and customer specific testing)
  • Establish and maintain a regional skill matrix and support talent management plans
  • Promote systematic exchange of knowledge
  • Coordinate Quality lab expert, incl. contact to suppliers and external labs
  • Validate and communicate changes and important information to the quality lab community, project teams
  • Ensure validation and verification of analytical methods
  • Validate CAPEX requests and provide support for realization
  • Manage and perform internal lab assessments and support qualification of external laboratories
  • Define extended and regionally harmonized quality lab KPIs for OpEx

 

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • Technical university degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or business degree with proven technical experience.
  • Overall work experience minimum 5-10 years. Function related experience of minimum 5 years preferable within the Flavour or Food industry
  • Experience to coordinate multiple labs (>5) within a geographical region (e.g. Europe)
  • Strong analytical skills, with understanding of quality lab processes
  • Experience in Flavour, food, chemical or pharmaceutical industries
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to travel 20-30%
  • Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Systems
