Reliability Engineer in Naarden – Your new challenge?

You will focus on improving availability and reliability of equipment, at competing costs with minimal impact on production. You make sure both production management and maintenance have great insight in the technical status and advise on the best maintenance strategy, taking preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and capital investments into account.

In this role you will report to the Manager Maintenance & Reliability and be part of the Maintenance team. However, you will work closely with production.


In this role you will be working on:

  • Analyzing:  with your excellent SAP and Excel skills you collect and analyze reliability performance data in order to prioritize maintenance and investments
  • Developing and executing: based on your great technical understanding of the production process, your analysis and your connection with the shop floor, you advise and co-create maintenance and investment plans. You deliver immaculate technical status measured by KPIs as, OEE, MTBF, Downtime, Costs, qualitative preventive maintenance
  • Stakeholder management: collaborate with all stakeholders as manufacturing operators and leadership, local and regional engineering. Build and maintain partnerships with EAME Operations and EAME/Global M&E network
  • Safety: you play your part in securing a safe working environment, both on personnel safety and taking food safety standards into account
  • Continuous improvement: Lean concepts such as 5S, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto analysis hold no secret for you, you are comfortable to apply these principles in a pragmatic manner and inspire others to do so as well

Your professional profile includes:

  • HBO or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Science or related field 
  • At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing process environment as Maintenance Engineer or Reliability Engineer, preferably within the Food or Chemical Industry
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Excellent communication skills are second nature
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of SAP (or other ERP system) and Excel
