Responsible Sourcing Specialist - Your future role?
As a Responsible Sourcing Specialist, you will sit in the Global Sustainability Department of Givaudan under the guidance of the Global Head of Responsible Sourcing (RS) and works in close collaboration with the entire RS Team. The RS programs are focusing on social, environmental, management systems and ethics & compliance aspects in our supply chains and at Givaudan sites and Joint Ventures. The RS specialist supports the implementation of the RS strategy and program globally, focusing on internal and external RS aspects and contributing to strategic projects.
This role is open with a 1 year temporary contract (maternity cover).
Multiple locations: Naarden (the Netherlands), Argenteuil (France), Budapest (Hungary), Ashford (UK), Sant Celoni (Spain)
In this role your main responsibilities will be:
Internal Responsible Sourcing Program coordination for Synthetic raw materials and Indirect Materials and Services (IM&S) categories

Coordinate all levels of the Sourcing4Good program for Synthetics and IM&S; Responsible Sourcing Policy, Due Diligence process, Supplier Audits and Action Plans, Traceability information, Advanced level projects

Be the main contact on Responsible Sourcing towards the relevant Synthetics and IM&S procurement teams

Manage the responsible sourcing data for Synthetics and IM&S in all levels of the Sourcing4Good program, and work with the relevant partners to ensure data integrity, consistency and coordinated reporting

Support procurement during their Sustainability journey (trainings, internal and external audits, sustainability assurance process, target setting, communication)

Partner with internal stakeholders to develop new and strengthen existing responsible sourcing processes that drive continuous improvement

Support alignment of Responsible Sourcing activities with Human Rights and Biodiversity strategies

Work together with the Givaudan Global Sustainability Solutions (GSS) Team responsible for the Responsible Sourcing customer reporting process and with the Sustainability Excellence team working on Digitalization of Sourcing4Good program as per needs
External Responsible Sourcing Disclosure and Communications

Support regular interactions with suppliers on Responsible Sourcing topics, in collaboration with procurement teams

Participate in external and sectorial working groups to advance responsible sourcing across priority supply chains.

Contribute to Givaudan's annual sustainability reporting suite, including the Integrated Annual Report and GRI disclosures.

Provide corporate-level support for inquiries and evidence in the area of responsible sourcing.

Be the contact for internal teams preparing customer presentations or external stakeholder engagements on responsible sourcing topics
Responsible Sourcing Strategy and Programs

Support the Responsible Sourcing Strategy and contribute to roll-outs of key initiatives such as supplier scorecards, due diligence, traceability projects, and advanced supplier collaborations

Assist Responsible Sourcing Team in connecting Sourcing4Good activities with wider company functions, including Wider Sustainability team, Procurement, Global Sustainability Solutions, and Sustainability Excellence
Your professional profile includes:

University degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Information Systems, Chemistry or Procurement
-
5 years of experience in Sustainability, Procurement, Information Systems, Chemistry or Engineering
-
Knowledge of corporate procurement, responsible sourcing or sustainability aspects (knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, ingredient commodity supply chains or indirect procurement is an advantage)

Fluent in English, local language an advantage

Autonomous and comfortable with cross functional set-ups

Organisation, coordination, and facilitation skills

Strong customer and service focus, solution oriented

Ability to travel (10%)
