(Senior) Key Account Manager - Taste & Wellbeing - Your future role?
Join our dynamic and inclusive team at Givaudan as a (Senior) Key Account Manager in the Taste & Wellbeing division. We are dedicated to driving growth, building customer relationships, and identifying business opportunities within the food industry.
As of today, we are looking for an experienced and energizing professional, with a knowledge of the Benelux food industry to complement our Benelux sales team. You will be based in Naarden (The Netherlands) and report directly to the Commercial Director Benelux.
As a (Senior) Key Account Manager, you will manage the following:
- Growing our business with designated accounts: Take ownership of both top and bottom-line results, driving revenue growth and ensuring profitability.
- Build customer relationships: Use a consultative selling approach and demonstrate an understanding of our customers' needs. Go beyond the obvious to deliver a positive customer experience.
- Identify and unlock new business opportunities: Combine a strategic mindset with a pragmatic approach to identify and maximize growth opportunities.
- Collaborating with different teams: Work with our technical Flavour Creation & Application and marketing teams to ensure successful project execution. Collaboration and teamwork are important to our success.
- Personal and professional development: Embrace an environment where creativity, business acumen, and technology intersect. Seek opportunities to learn and grow.
We are looking for someone who has the following characteristics:
- Minimum of 7 years of successful commercial experience in the B2B food industry in flavors and/or specialized food ingredients. Experience coordinating multinational accounts is valued.
- Job level flexibility: This position can be tailored to fit a Key Account Manager or a Senior Key Account Manager, depending on your experience and qualifications.
- Proactive and determined: Demonstrate a desire to achieve results and the ability to turn challenges and setbacks into opportunities.
- Consultative selling and relationship-building: Can understand and address customer needs, building lasting partnerships.
- Self-awareness and excellent interpersonal: Communicate effectively, negotiate persuasively, and establish partnership with diverse partners.
- Handle complexity: Balance attention to detail with a hands-on problem-solving approach.
- Strategic business and commercial insight: Display an understanding of the industry landscape and have the courage to take calculated risks to achieve growth.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in English, with knowledge of the Dutch language considered an advantage.
