Supply Chain Manager

About the Role


As a Junior Supply Chain Manager at Givaudan, based in Naarden - one of our growing site,  but willing to work on projects/topics cross-site with DE as needed -, you will solid manage and track record in warehouse and logistics projects. You will use your Continuous Improvement background, strong analytical skills and proven process optimization experience to broaden SCM skills widely. You will act close to the business by building a strong partnership in order to achieve the goals together.  


You Will:


·         Provide key supply chain inputs to the Operations business plans

·         Adapt and implements the Local supply chain strategy, and oversee the design and execution of related tactical and operational plans to meet regional and local Operations objectives.

·         Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Oversee the smooth execution of local demand and supply planning as well as inventory management, ensuring material availability while maintaining cost control and following best practices.

·         Organize reliable, efficient and safe warehouse and shipping operations with a strong focus on- time execution (service), quality (customer and internal requirement) and cost (efficiency).

·         Ensure that the site complies with trade affairs regulations on import and export.


You Have:


·         Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistic, Operations Management or related discipline.

·         3 years of experience in a similar role

·         English language is a must. Upper-Intermediate Dutch knowledge is a minimum requirement 

·         Experience in manufacturing operations with a strong background in supply chain planning, quality and/or materials management, including exposure to organizational change, operational restructuring, business process redesign, systems implementations, and enterprise risk for complex organizations.

·         Good understanding of the main processes in operations and supply chain and main metrics to measure the performance (APICS CPIM).
