POSITION: Business Analyst

RATE OF PAY: $118,500 - $130,000 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
TOTAL HOURS/WEEK: 40
DUTIES: Support the strategy and development of the business’ commercial practice by providing sound
financial and operational analysis. Provide interpretive and predictive analysis to support decision-making.
Improve productivity and enhance profitability for the division. Meet or exceed performance objectives. Serve
as the key point of contact for strategic initiatives for the North American (NOAM) Fine Fragrance Team. Work
directly with the NOAM Regional Head of Fine Fragrances and Commercial and Development Teams to
support the strategic vision of the company. Formulate recommendations for day-to-day and decision making.
Provide guidance to Commercial team, identify opportunities and develop corrective actions together with
Commercial Business Partner to meet financial and non-financial targets. Lead a monthly business review for
the NOAM Fine Fragrances Team, including sales, pipeline review, product margin, operating expenses and
headcount analysis. Assist the Global Fine Fragrance Business Unit Controller in forecasting and budgeting.
Drive business intelligence metrics, KPIs, strategic account planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate activities within the region and the overall finance organization to ensure accuracy and robustness of
the Fine Fragrance performance reports. Assist in the development of the region’s commercial 5-year business
plan and annual operating budgets in alignment with division goals and initiatives. Successfully manage Capex
(capital expense) credit application and projects. Assist the Pricing Department on core list negotiations with
key clients in order to assess different strategic approaches to negotiations from a financial perspective,
including sales, win rate, gross profit, margin and incentives to the client.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent, and 3
years of relevant experience as an Analyst, Sr. Pricing Analyst, or related alternate acceptable experience.
Work or academic experience must have included:
1. Advanced financial and accounting skills with background in Pricing, Business Analysis and
Manufacturing experience applied to the Fragrance and Beauty industry.
2. Performing interpretive and predictive data analysis in the Fragrance & Beauty international
marketplace to identify key risks and opportunities for enhanced profitability.
3. Utilizing systems such as SAP, IBIS, PCDM, Tableau, and Power BI Analytics.
4. Collaborating with global partners to build financial plans, including annual sales, 5 year business plan
and operational expense budgets.
5. Performing financial consolidation to support Commercial management in strategic decision-making,
playing a key role between the Commercial and Finance organizations
6. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives by evolving, streamlining, and automating processes,
policies, and procedures to the commercial key stakeholders.
