North America Head of Sales
Work with Global Head of Sales to define the Active Beauty business strategy for the region and lead the activity to deliver it. Manage the regional team. Based in our New York location with 30% travel, reporting to Global Head of Sales.
In this position you will:
- Define business strategy for Active Beauty for the region, the main goals and the actions needed to deliver them.
- Be responsible for managing sales forecasts, sales budgets and margins in the region and manage expense budgets.
- Lead and support the regional team to drive business growth and profitability. Develop relationships with senior level managers in key accounts. Support regional team in price negotiations. Manage the opportunity pipeline to achieve growth plans
- Direct sales to Local and Regional customers. Be responsible for prioritisation or arbitration for resources between accounts when required.
- Work with Key Account Managers from other regions in a matrix style to support key accounts
- Manage distributors in the region, set budget targets, training, customer targets and product focus.
- Lead, inspire and develop the regional sales, marketing, formulation and technical managers
- Identify the gaps and opportunities for customers and consumers in the region and feedback to Commercial Head, R&D, and Marketing.

Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in scientific discipline e.g. chemistry, biology, biochemistry etc.
- 10+ years of relevant B2B account management experience with successful track record
- Experience in cosmetic ingredients or personal care market
- Experience of managing distributors
- People management experience
- Account Management and financial acumen
- Competent knowledge of the industry including technical aspects
- People management and development experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Fluency in English
- Good at building relationships
