SCOPE OF THE JOB

 

Reporting to the Head of Laboratory, as an Application Laboratory Manager, you will manage the category Application Laboratory maximizing efficient use of resources to meet the increasing demand from clients and CFM.

You will ensure technical support and solve technical issues.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Supervise daily laboratory activities including resource management
  • Coach laboratory Technicians, apprentices, and interns.
  • Team cohesion
  • Manage the Fine Fragrance Land part linked to the application laboratory
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Evaluation, and Creation laboratory to ensure seamless
  • Project execution
  • Manage projects related to the research tax credit (CIR)
  • Report activity
  • Optimization use of software and IT resources
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Be part of continuous improvement projects linked to application activity
  • Workflow optimization, automation

 

EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE

 

  • Chemistry background
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Excellent project management skills

 

EXPERIENCE

 

  • 8 or more years of experience
  • Experience with laboratory management, ideally in the fragrance or cosmetics industry
