As a Data Scientist you will have the fantastic opportunity to be a member of our Data Insight team dedicated in the exploitation of the full business potential of big data/advanced analytics to anticipate customer needs and provide to millions of consumers moments of delight, every single day. You will be working for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. Your con-tribution will be critical to anticipate consumers & customers’ needs and create better Fragrances & Tastes for our customers.

 

You will be based at our Digital Factory in Paris.

In this position, reporting to the Data Science Lead, you will:

 

Partner with business 

  • Detail the business challenges & opportunities
  • Scope the data exploration activities, and/or the analytics pilots
  • Apply, modify and / or invent algorithms to address the challenge
  • Use your analytical knowledge to tell the story (model findings, performance…) to business stakeholders
  • Support business in defining change management required to leverage model findings and deliver value

 

Contribute to the Center of Expertise’s missions

  • Define the approach and technologies to use
  • Identify best practices

 

Collaborate with the IT department 

  • Select, implement and support the implementation of tools

 

You? 

 

  • Master’s degree in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, operations research, computer science or related technical discipline
  • Proven advanced data mining and predictive modelling skills
  • 2+ years of business experience in an advanced analytics role
  • Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
