Quality Assurance Manager f/m/d – Paris

 

In relation to the objective of the function to assure the safety, compliance, legality and quality of our products, you will plan, organize and oversee the implementation of the Global Quality Assurance Strategy, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Strategy within our Paris Kleber office.

 

The Quality Assurance Manager leads the QA team and manages the daily QA activity related to all site activities in the scope of the Quality Management System.

The QA Manager is expected to promote quality principles, values and culture site wide, provide independent and unbiased opinions, advice and decisions and assess the level of compliance and effectiveness of quality assurance activities vs requirements.

 

In this exciting role, reporting to the Global Fine Fragrance Quality Development Manager, you will:

  • Quality System Compliance: Lead the implementation of quality related policy, process, best practice, etc.
  • QMS Documentation: Implement and maintain local QMS documentation required to ensure the effectiveness of the system and assure product quality. Ensure the effectiveness and completion of the documentation lifecycle
  • Processes Critical to Quality: Ensure the effectiveness of processes critical to quality and provide QMS awareness training to appropriate personnel on site
  • Audits/Corrective & Preventative Actions: Implement and maintain an internal audit schedule that expresses the level of compliance to appropriate requirements, lead follow-up actions and drive improvements. Lead external quality related audits by authorities and customers.
  • Customer/Sales Interface: Coordinate the review and response to client related quality inquiries and provide the necessary guidance to local teams on quality topics
  • Management of Non Conformance: Ensure the effectiveness of local processes through the management of non-conformance
  • Project Management and Effectiveness & Efficiency of the QA function: Lead cross functional improvement projects and meetings in relation to Quality KPI's performance improvement and the effectiveness of the QMS
  • Communication: Coordinates and communicates global Quality KPI to Global Quality Manager and other team members

Your professional profile includes:

  • Master's degree in Quality Management or related discipline
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Expertise in Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement
  • Experience leading complex cross functional / regional alignment projects and improvements
  • Relationships builder, results oriented, problem solving mindset
