Project Engineer for Electrical and Automation

Purpose: Develop, implement and handover successful Project´s deliverables, using Engineering & CI Tools in a  structured, ethic and efficient way, as well as complying with the Business and Clients expectations.

 

As a Project Engineer, you will have an active participation in the design of the electricity network and automation for the project, ensuring EHS and legislative compliance regarding all equipment. 

 

Responsibilities:
-    Responsible for the completion of the Electrical and Automation scope of the project,  from budget refinement through design phases, construction, commissioning, hand-over. 
-    Ensure that all Electrical and Automation design,  meet the requirements for to the manufacturing process, utilities facilities and related services within the site, including but not limited to:
•    Electric Power distribution
•    Application of local electric standards, consistent with site standards and preferred suppliers
•    Energy efficiency features, reducing maintenance cost
•    Familiar with area classification for flammable and explosion hazard (Atex), risk analysis
•    Consistent interpretation and integration from process requirements to automation design
-    Ensure that Electrical Engineering issues are addressed through all phases of the project life cycle.
-    Ensure that Automation Engineering is adequate with Chemical processes requests and its environment
-    Ensure all data, schematics, certificates, documentation are available and filled in a formal structure
-    Ensure a formal handover, including activities such as training, as-built documents, installation qualification

 

You:

-    Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics or related    
-    Expertise in application of IEC-Ex standards (Flammable products handling)  
-    Proficient in written English, strong communication skills. Good commend of oral English is a must. 
-    3 or more years of experience involved in project management and stakeholders management
-    3 or more years of experience involved in projects at Chemical Companies, especially in Electrical and Automation field
-    Experience in Project Management and Construction Projects. 
-    PMP Certification is an asset 
-    Computer skills, Word, Excel, CADs, etc.
