Project Engineer for Mechanical and Infrastructure

Purpose: Develop, implement and handover successful Project´s deliverables, using Engineering & CI Tools in a structured, ethic and efficient way, as well as complying with the Business and Clients expectations.


As a Project Engineer, you will support the project environment with the ultimate goal to ensure alongside the project team the success of the projects’ objectives.


Application of standards, methodologies and set of project management tools
-    Follow global standards – where applicable, develop / apply local standards & procedures 
-    Train local team in practices of engineering project management & maintain know how in the organization
•    Closely monitor the compliance of project management processes and practices in projects
•    Collating and reporting project status to management on a regular timeframe
•    Reporting and consulting with the project governance team
•    Reporting project status via weekly meetings with PM & PMO
•    Attend project gate reviews and provide expert opinion
•    Following the KPI’s defined
•    Monitoring project milestones
•    Monitoring management of project documentation.
•    Promoting project management within the organization
•    Working closely with all stakeholders and project teams to ensure proper interfacing and alignment in the overall project scope
•    Monitoring and reviewing project performance
•    Continuous monitoring in terms of schedule, cost and quality
•    Present corrective actions when project performance is not adhering to the expected standards
•    Monitoring and recording project issues and escalating when necessary to the management


•    Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Infrastructure/Utilities or related
•    Familiar in application of Ex standards (Flammable products handling)
•    Proficient in written and spoken English, strong communication skills.
•    3 or more years of experience directly involved in project management and stakeholders management
•    3 or more years of experience directly involved in projects at Chemical Companies, especially in Infrastructure, Mechanical and Utilities Projects.
•    Experience in Project Management and Construction Projects.
•    PMP Certification is an asset
