Site Controller Fragrance Ingredientes, your future role?

 

Reporting into the Business Unit Controller, you will manage controlling activities for our Fragrance ingredients industrial operations in Mexico. You will provide business support to the local Head of Operations to ensure compliance. You will also serve as a member of the Site Operations Management Team enabling: full finance integration into operations, support and achieve process improvement initiatives at a site level and active involvement and challenge of our decisions.

 

You will work onsite at our manufacturing facility located at Pedro Escobedo, Queretaro. We will require you to live nearby the site.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

Business partnering

  • Provide insights to Operations management team on risks and opportunities of the site operations.
  • Propose mitigation actions and ensure the execution of these actions after agreement.

 

Business Insights

Provide Operations management team with interpretive and predictive operational and financial information to make decisions. Perform ad-hoc and proactive analyses of the monthly indicators and provide Operational management team with the performance insight.

 

Investments

Work with site engineers, local management and regional controllers evaluating capital proposals up until value realization.

 

Budget Cycle

Manage the annual budget process and the regular management performance review of the site. This includes the annual standard product costing and working with the Pricing organization related to costing by providing detailed product costing analysis.

 

Financial Performance Analysis

Participate in the forecasting and mid-to long-term planning for the site. This includes supporting the site management in the development and analysis of business plans, budgets, forecasts and cost savings opportunities. It also includes performing regular cost centers and investment reviews and follow-ups, driving resolutions of variance issues.

 

Internal control

Oversee and evaluate internal controls for the site and devise procedures to ensure clarity around processes and proper internal controls in compliance with corporate guidelines as stated in the Corporate Finance Manual.

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with Master’s Degree.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Controlling and Cost Accounting in manufacturing B2B companies of the foods or chemicals industries.
  • Experience of industrial costing processes.
  • Fluent English, both oral and written.
  • Experience using SAP FI/CO.
  • Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions).
  • Experience in Project Management.
