Supply Planner Junior, your future opportunity?
You will be responsible for material requirements planning (MRP) activities for a group of countries, including (raw) materials ordering and inventory, as well as production planning and scheduling, in order to secure that products can be manufactured and supplied on time to customers as per defined quality standards and operative KPIs (PIR/golden rules/best practices, SLOB, etc.).
You will report to ourDemand Planner Manager, based in Querétaro, Mexico.
In this exciting opportunity, you'll:
- Enter and maintain material requirements data in MRP/SAP system(s); test and validate system configuration whenever updated/changed.
- Liaise with Demand Planners as well as Commercial and Manufacturing organizations to review customer orders and agree on deliveries.
- Ensure customer (internal and external) response on time managing realistic delivery plans considering capacity supply from affiliates.
- Monitor and check accuracy of supply and inventory data in related systems (SAP, SLOB, etc.).
- Monitor and track the delivery of materials/products to inbound/outbound or customer warehouse(s) as per agreed/committed date. Provides special follow-up on shipments of critical materials.
- Perform various day-to-day administrative tasks related to inbound materials transportation and outbound orders shipping in coordination with Warehouse.
- Monitor production schedules to inform Planners and to our Customers about product delivery dates or resolve delays.
- Ensure effectively and timely transactional review/audit of all import/export records and implement appropriate corrective actions in response to any findings.
- Interface with site logistics organizations as well as suppliers to ensure their understanding of import/export documentation requirements.
- Advise on import/export compliance requirements and procedures, and participate in site/division projects related to customs and trade compliance.
- Establish proper classifi cation, valuation and origin determination for imported goods, including non-commercial goods.
- Analyse import/export data to identify risks or opportunities for savings and make recommendations to management as appropriate.
Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics management, Foreign Trade or equivalent.
- Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (SAP, BI/BO, etc.).
- Language skills: English * Fluent.
- Desired APICS Certification.
- Knowledge in Forecasting (Statistical Models).
- Microsoft Office.
- 2 or more years of experience
- Communication Skills.
