AP Operations Manager

Accounts Payable Manager - Your future position?

 

As a AP Manager , you will manage a Team of AP TL and Accountants to maximize value to Givaudan in terms of quality and efficiency, complying with corporate guidelines and local policies. You will lead process and organization improvements and/or scope extension projects according to the organization’s goals and objectives. You will be the main point of contact for AP related issues for the stakeholders in APAC. In this exciting role you also will:

 

Team Management

  • Manage and monitor the performance of a large AP team on regional scale
  • Hire, on-board and develop team members and team leads as required
  • Coach team leads to build a high performing team
  • Plan resources as per business priorities, retain talents by driving development opportunities
  • Handle performance issues and involve HR and management when necessary
     

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build a strong relationship with the cross functional teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal customers to identify areas of improvement
  • Act as a main point of contact for business stakeholders in relation to AP operations issues
  • Participate in process improvement projects with GSEs
  • Secure high level of quality and efficient service delivery globally of:
  • Ensure team is performing as per the SLA and work on corrective actions if necessary
  • Manage escalations and stakeholder issue resolutions within the end to end AP processes
  • Fostering continuous Improvement mindset within the team
  • Provide technical support to the team
  • Contribute to improve customer support by actively responding to queries and handling complaints from vendors and business stakeholders
  • Monitor AP KPI trends and consistently reporting performance to the business stakeholders

Your professional profile includes:

 

Education / Primary Qualification:

  • Qualification: University degree in Finance, Accounting and Controlling
  • Languages: English is a must, Chinese is an advantage
  • Professional experience: Accounts Payable work experience in shared services is highly preferred
  • 5-8 years experience in an Accounts Payable team lead or people management role, managing teams I  excess of 20 employees
  • Full knowledge of Procure- to-Pay(PTP) processes with specialization in Accounts Payable and Fi-nance
  • Experience in process improvement / process excellence initiatives (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, CI)
  • Experience in IT systems, preferably SAP and MS-Office
