Accounts Receivable Accountant – Your future position?

 

In this role you will actively participate in and review month end activities. Sounds interesting? It could well be your perfect opportunity if, like us, you always aim to exceed customer needs, deliver value and are skilled at fostering strong relationships.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Process receipts payment made by the customer via bank transfer and cheque
  • Ensure all bank transactions are timely and accurately processed in the system 
  • Perform settlement of bank clearing accounts for the collection and bank transactions, monitor bank accounts in SAP tallied with bank statement
  • Process adjustments, write-offs, bank charges, rebates, and commissions
  • Process nontrade related debit and credit notes
  • Actively participate in month-end activities (aging report, bad debt provision, reconciliation of accounts)
  • Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
  • Identify, recommend and implement solutions in consultation with Team Lead and Manager for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Take care of own processes, documentation and keeping them up-to-date
  • Ensure customer queries are attended to and resolved in a timely manner

Your professional profile includes the following: 

  • University degree
  • Professional experience in Accounts Receivable for at least: 2 years
  • Experience in SAP is highly preferred
  • Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint Access)
  • Fluent in English (Able to read, write and speak)
