Credit Management & Collection Team Lead- Your future position?

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

Collection Management

  • Resolve and advise on complex and sensitive collection issues.

 

Credit Management

  • Participate in the quotation and proposal stages to ensure credit terms are appropriate in meeting management’s cash flow objectives and the corporate credit and collections policy
  • Responsible for managing a credit portfolio in order to be able to provide guidance and coaching to team members in all credit-related processes to ensure credit analysis documents reflect accuracy, consistency with global credit policy, and sound credit recommendations related to the risk assessment.

 

Dispute/Order Management

  • Ensure sound decisions are made regarding the releasing/holding of key customer orders based upon financial condition of the account

 

Customer Relationship Management

  • Communicate with sales and finance regarding material changes in status of key customers’ financial positions
  • Be first point of contact and deal with all issues and problems encountered in the day-to-day Credit Management processing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to drive improvements in collections and credits processing

 

Process & People Management:

  • Coach and motivate team members of GBS Finance centre in achieving team targets set by management
  • Support the functional Lead to monitor the team’s performance against deliverables set in the Service Levels Agreements and against the GBS Finance centre standards
  • Plan and monitor the workload/quality of the service level accordingly in order to achieve the global targets of the GBS Finance centre 
  • Identify and contribute to process improvement opportunities for improving the end-to end processes throughout daily operations and related projects
  • Identify and correct operational barriers that hinder successful performance by developing creative solutions to problems including the use of automation, procedure revisions, organizational changes, collaboration with other service
  • Lead and support cross-functional projects to improve business results
  • Participate in development and implementation of corporate credit and collections policies
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s and GBS Finance centre’s procurement and accounting rules, policies and processes applicable to in-scope activities

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • A degree in Business, Accounting or Finance and/or relevant professional qualification.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin language working competency are required in order to perform job responsibilities.
  • Possess 5 years of relevant experience and above.
  • Possess people management experience, problem solving skills, stakeholder management skills and driven for results.
  • Good command of SAP system.
