EDM Manager

EDM Manager  - Your future position?


EDM Manager will ensure timely and accurate processing of all EDM Management activities for assigned team(s), in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements. Supporting the EDM strategy execution by overseeing and continuously developing the Master Data related activities in the assigned region, and ensures the development of their team. You will report to the Head of Functional Delivery EDM. In this exciting role you will:


Team Management

  •  Manage and monitor the performance of large teams of Data Administrators and Data Analysts on regional scale
  • Hires and develops team members and Team Leaders as required including talent and performance management
  • Provide professional support for the team: Coach team members, set goals, evaluate skill development, develop individual action plans and train team as needed


Stakeholder Management

  • Builds constructive and effective relationships with EDM Teams and site teams (as listed in contacts) and cross-functional GBS teams
  • Promote EDM services and represent EDM organization in the region
  • Act as an escalation point for process related activities regionally
  • Promote value generated by the team


Master Data/Information Management activities timely execution and data quality

  • Customer Master, Vendor Master, Material Master, Customer Related Data, Packaging Material and other master data and Information Management activities
  • Mass Extractions , Mass update, Data Profiling according the Data Analysts SOPs
  • Take ownership of reporting and analytics
  • Adherence to policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone or via email


Ensures Process improvement

  • Continuous Improvement and Idea management
  • Fruitful Functional interaction with the related EDM teams

Your professional profile includes:


Academic Background

  • Diploma: University degree preferably in business administration or economics


Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Master Data Management or any related field.
  • Shared Service experience preferred.
  • People Management experience 3- 5 years


Technical Skills


Language requirements

  • Languages: Fluent in English


Software skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office

Other skills:

  • Strong understanding of EDM and other related processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at regional level, but also on global level
  • Strong service management and communication skills
