Regional Supply Planner

Regional Supply Planner - Your future position?

 

In this role role you will perform mid-long term supply planning activities for raw materials in a timely and accurate manner. You will be part of our Regional Supply Planning team which is responsible to ensure the timely raw materials availability for our 8 flavours and fragrances productions sites within APAC.

In this role you will:

 

Perform day-to-day supply planning activities:

 

  • Optimize inbound supply patterns and evaluate exception requests from local planners
  • Manage planning parameters and lead time data and evaluate exception requests, close monitoring of safety stock, minimum lot size, economic order quantity
  • Identify material supply constraints and collaborate with the Regional Supply Chain team to develop resolution options
  • Create presentation material for supply review and executive S&OP

 

For global/regional vendor managed materials and non-vendor managed materials:

  • Optimize network inventory levels and evaluate exception requests from site
  • Manage strategic stockholding requests for raw materials
  • Generate material requirements plan
  • Manage long term supply issues

 

Collaborate:

  • build constructive and effective relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders
  • Act as contact person for key internal and external stakeholders for operational topics
  • Proactive co-operation with other work streams within the GBS in overseeing the end-to-end process

 

Improve:

  • identify process improvement areas and actively work on the implementation
  • share best-practices and ideas with your team, involve cross-functional teams if necessary to achieve the most efficient ways of working

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • University or College degree preferably in economics/supply chain management or relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in supply planning, supply chain, production planning
  • Fluency in English
  • SAP PP/MM module knowledge is as advantage
  • Good knowledge on MS Office tools expecially on MS Excel
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong customer focus mindset
  • Experience in Knowledge Transfer activities is an advantage
  • Lean green belt or project management experience is an advantage
