Transport Execution Coordinator (6 months contract)- Your future position?

 

Overall mission:

  • Ensure correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in logistics execution according to the requirements specified in the role description.
  • Take directions from the Road Hub Manager and others in the team on specific tasks.
  • Coordinate critical assigned operational activities in close contact with the local site in the specific region.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as a First Escalation point for transport issues.
  • Manage critical Road daily transportation exceptions, coordinate express shipments requests with internal/external stakeholders
  • Manage Inbound/Outbound deliveries updates through system (SAP +Track & Trace system) and act accordingly with internal/external stakeholders
  • Review/ participate in LSP performance reviews
  • Review/validate road freight invoices & manage carrier request for additional charges beyond the scope of their contracted pricing
  • Apply and ensure Givaudan validated processes are in place together with sites and road service providers and, share any local best practice and escalate where needed
  • Monitor and take action to ensure up to date E2E Transportation Data Flow
  • Create volume forecasts of road shipments and communicate to carriers
  • Manage critical site specific Logistics Complaints and returns
  • Ensure any specific required follow up on road transportation
  • Adherence to service levels Adherence to policies and procedures
  • Builds constructive and effective relationships with cross functional teams
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone, email

 

 

Education/ primary qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent
  • Good English communication skills. Knowledge of Mandarin language is preferred.
  • Possess ideally 1-2 years of experience in relevant field. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience is also welcome to apply.
  • SAP knowledge is a must.
  • Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace/Google Suite.
  • Possess skills like driven, detail oriented, growth mindset and detail oriented.
